Windows XP Setup Directions

Step 1. Click on START, click CONTROL PANEL, double click NETWORK CONNECTIONS.

Step 2. Double click "New Connection Wizard." The New Connection Wizard will appear. Click "Next."

Step 3. On the "Network Connections Type" screen, select "Connect to the Internet." Click "Next."

Step 4. On the "Getting Ready" screen, select "Set up my connection manually" and click "Next."

Step 5. On the "Internet Connection" screen, select "Connect using a dial-up modem," click "Next."

Step 6. On this screen, type "InterComm" for the ISP name. Click "Next."

Step 7. On the "Phone Number to Dial" screen, type the following:
      Reno/Sparks/Carson City: 332-3888
      Gardnerville/Minden/Dayton: 883-3399
      Elko area: 777-0947
      Other Areas: please call
      Click "Next."

Step 8. "Internet Account Information" is where you will enter your User Name and Password . At the bottom of this screen, uncheck the box next to "Turn on Internet Connection Firewall." Click "Next."

Step 9. "Completing the New Connection Wizard" screen, click "Finish."

You are now configured to go online with InterComm!
